Linda Schultz will be having a community meeting 8/17th 9:30AM, at RHS. Dr. Spurka and Linda will address concerns surrounding RHS not meeting AYP this past school year. Remediation efforts are already under way.

The AYP Policy Brief from the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education is attached for review. This article is an encouragement to get involved and weigh in, voice our concerns with the ultimate objective of a more effective accountability system. RHS is clearly an example of why current AYP standards are outdated - RHS is a high performing public school, not just within the State of Georgia, but also Nationally, per Newsweek's Americas Best High Schools ranking.
